League Opening Week a Great Success
What a fantastic start to the 2026 league season at The Muni.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in the first week of both our Men’s and Ladies Leagues. The opening shotgun nights were a great success, and it was amazing to see so many members back out enjoying the course, the BBQ, and another season of league golf.
We appreciate everyone being part of our leagues and are looking forward to a fun and competitive season ahead.
Senior Men’s Games – Starting May 21
Thursday Senior Games will begin on May 21st and are open to Muni male members aged 55+.
- Tee Times: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
- Cost: $60 for the season
- Includes weekly prize money and a year-end lunch
The format will include a variety of scrambles and match-style games, with players rotated weekly to create new groups and opportunities to play with different members throughout the season.

Men’s Invitational – New Date for 2026
We have moved the date of our annual Men’s Invitational in hopes of accommodating more player schedules and avoiding conflicts with other events in the area.
This season’s event will take place on:
Saturday, June 13
Don’t miss one of the premier events of the season featuring:
- Full prize table
- Dinner included
- Great day of golf and competition
Registration is now open at the Pro Shop desk. The field will be limited to 80 players, so be sure to sign up early.
RBC PGA Scramble Presented by BMW – July 24
We’re excited to announce that The Muni will be hosting a local qualifier for the RBC PGA Scramble presented by BMW on Friday, July 24th.
This national event gives amateur golfers the opportunity to compete in a fun team scramble format for the chance to advance through regional qualifying and potentially earn a trip to the National Final at Cabot Cape Breton.
The event is open to:
- Men’s teams
- Women’s teams
- Mixed teams
All participants must have an active Golf Canada Membership and valid Golf Canada Handicap Index.
Teams consist of four amateur players competing in a scramble format, with both low gross and low net teams having opportunities to advance.
Registration Information
Registration is now open and can be completed through the official RBC PGA Scramble website. Teams are encouraged to register early as qualifiers across Canada continue to fill quickly. We are keeping registration for The Muni event to member only until June 15th, allowing time for our members to register before opening for general public to fill the remaining spots. The event will host the first 24 registered teams.
We’re hoping to see a Muni team make a run all the way to Cabot this season.
We’re excited for everything ahead this season and look forward to another great summer at The Muni.
