We hope everyone had a wonderful Canada Day week and enjoyed a fantastic weekend with family, friends, and hopefully a round (or two) of golf.

The golf course continues to be in excellent condition, and we’d like to thank everyone for doing their part to help keep it that way. Please remember to repair ball marks on the greens, replace divots whenever possible, rake bunkers after use, and keep carts away from greens and tee blocks. These small efforts from every golfer make a huge difference in maintaining the great conditions we all enjoy.

Registration for our RBC PGA Scramble Local Qualifier is going extremely well, but there is still room for just seven more teams.

The RBC PGA Scramble is Canada’s largest amateur team golf event, giving teams of four the opportunity to advance through local qualifying and regional finals, with the chance to earn a trip to the National Final at Cabot Cape Breton.

Community Event at the Stratford Lawn Bowling Club

Our friends at the Stratford Lawn Bowling Club are hosting a special fundraiser in support of Cystic Fibrosis and invite members of the community to participate.

Bowl for a Cause – Rolling Toward a Cure

May has brought a little bit of everything weather-wise so far, but despite the cooler temperatures and rain at times, it has still been great seeing so many members and guests out enjoying the golf course.

The course is in fantastic shape for this time of year, and we were extremely happy with how well the greens recovered from aeration. They healed up incredibly quickly and are already rolling great for this early in the season.

The golf course continues to improve daily, and we’re excited for everything still to come this season.

We’re excited to announce that The Muni will be hosting a local qualifier for the RBC PGA Scramble presented by BMW on Friday, July 24th.

This national event gives amateur golfers the opportunity to compete in a fun team scramble format for the chance to advance through regional qualifying and potentially earn a trip to the National Final at Cabot Cape Breton.

The event is open to:

• Men’s teams
• Women’s teams
• Mixed teams

All participants must have an active Golf Canada Membership and valid Golf Canada Handicap Index.

Teams consist of four amateur players competing in a scramble format, with both low gross and low net teams having opportunities to advance.

Registration Information

Registration is now open and can be completed through the official RBC PGA Scramble website. Teams are encouraged to register early as qualifiers across Canada continue to fill quickly. We are keeping registration for The Muni event to member only until June 15th, allowing time for our members to register before opening for general public to fill the remaining spots. The event will host the first 24 registered teams.

We’re hoping to see a Muni team make a run all the way to Cabot this season.

Opening day is finally here.

We’re excited to officially welcome everyone back to The Muni for the start of the 2026 golf season. After a long off-season, it’s great to see the course come back to life and the first groups heading out.

A big thank you to our staff for all the work put in getting the course ready, and to our members and guests for your patience this spring. We’re looking forward to another fantastic season of golf, events, and community.
