May has brought a little bit of everything weather-wise so far, but despite the cooler temperatures and rain at times, it has still been great seeing so many members and guests out enjoying the golf course.

The course is in fantastic shape for this time of year, and we were extremely happy with how well the greens recovered from aeration. They healed up incredibly quickly and are already rolling great for this early in the season.

The golf course continues to improve daily, and we’re excited for everything still to come this season.

Men’s Invitational – Only 24 Days Away

Our annual Men’s Invitational is now just 24 days away and shaping up to be another great event at The Muni.

This year’s event takes place on:

Saturday, June 13

Don’t miss one of the premier events of the season featuring:

• Full prize table
• Great food and dinner
• Fun competition and atmosphere
• 80-player field

Registration is now open at the Pro Shop counter, and spots are filling quickly. Be sure to get signed up soon so you don’t miss out.

RBC PGA Scramble Presented by BMW – July 24

We’re also very excited to host an RBC PGA Scramble local qualifier on Friday, July 24.

This event has become one of the biggest amateur golf events in Canada and gives teams the opportunity to advance through qualifying rounds with hopes of reaching the National Final at Cabot.

At this time, registration is currently open to members only, but will open to public players soon.

Please note:

• The event is limited to just 24 teams
• Open to men’s, women’s, and mixed teams
• All players require a valid Golf Canada Handicap

If you’re interested in playing, we encourage you to start putting your team together now before spots fill up.
