October at The Muni
October is here, and there is still plenty of great golf left to play this season. While the mornings are starting to cool down, the afternoons are shaping up to be beautiful fall golf weather — a perfect chance to enjoy the course before the season winds down.
Key Dates to Remember
- Driving Range Closing: The range will officially close for the season on Monday, October 13th.
- PGA of Canada Seminars: From October 14th–17th, we are proud to once again host the PGA of Canada for their fall seminars. During these dates, the golf course will remain open but the clubhouse will be closed from 8am to 4pm daily. Please plan accordingly if you are playing.
Frost Delays
As the temperatures dip, frost delays will become a regular part of fall golf. If frost impacts early tee times, we will do our best to notify players by email as soon as possible.
Why do we wait for frost to melt? Walking or driving on frozen turf can rupture the grass plant’s cells, leaving behind damage that can take weeks — or even months — to heal. By waiting for the frost to lift, we ensure our playing surfaces remain healthy and ready for the next season.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation during these cooler mornings.
Enjoy these final weeks of the season, and we look forward to seeing you on the course this October!
