It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, The Muni lost a beloved member of our family with the passing of Gary Franklin.

Gary was part of The Muni for more than 20 years, and during that time he became so much more than just an employee — he was family. He never missed a day of work, and there was nothing he couldn’t fix. If something stumped him, he would go home, learn how to do it, and return the next day ready to solve the problem.

Many of you will remember seeing Gary’s friendly smile as he cut the fairways, always with a wave and a kind word. His work ethic, positivity, and presence touched every part of our course and our community. Quite simply, The Muni would not be what it is today without him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Gary’s family and friends during this difficult time. We will all miss him dearly, but his legacy and the countless ways he shaped The Muni will never be forgotten.
