Muni Minute

It has been an amazing season at The Muni but today marks the final day of the 2022 season.

The 2022 season started on April 29th at 10:00am with tee shots from Mike Hishon and Larry Chessell. It was then followed by 28,737 rounds over the next 192 days, before our final swing on hole 1 will be taken at 3:50pm tonight, by Korie Petrie.

I again want to Thank everyone for the great season. Without our amazing members and guests, the Muni wouldn’t be able to continue its growth in becoming the best golf course it can be.

This season we saw the install of a brand new automated irrigation system, new drainage on our wet holes, and our greens like the sign said were the best around. This being the truest statement of all, as I played in many professional events this season around the province, at some of the finest private clubs, and our greens would stand side by side with them all.

I look forward to continued growth in 2023, and introducing everyone back to new flooring in the clubhouse at the start of the season.

Lastly our indoor golf simulator will be returning this offseason in the clubhouse from Jan 3rd to April 1st. It is a great opportunity to keep your swing over the winter or better yet even improve. Our Trackman technology offers over a 100 courses to play, and the full range allows you to practice any shot in your bag. This season we will also see a 10 week winter league with a different course being played weekly, from St. Andrews to PGA National.

Cheers
