With our final week of the 2023 season upon us and the weather flipping back to seasonal, we will only see the course open for a few select days.

The wet and cold weather today followed by the chance of some flurries Tuesday and Wednesday will leave the course closed for play, but we will see the tee sheet reopen for Thursday, Friday and Saturday bookings and our final days of the year.

The tee sheet will now be open for booking these days!! For our members booking after the 31st please ignore the fee’s associated with your booking, we know who our 2023 members are and you will not be charged.

With this weeks warm weather, I hope everyone has been able to get out for some final rounds of golf, as next week we see the weather return to normal and even the chance of some flurries!! We will be opening the tee sheet for November 1st on Monday morning only if the weather looks okay for some golf and will continue that trend for the next 5 days, opening the tee sheet 2 days prior and only if the weather looks nice enough for some golf. After November 5th the course will remain closed for the season no matter the weather and we ask that everyone stays off the course as we prepare it for winter.

For those asking about our simulator, it will return this winter as our new Indoor Winter Golf Academy. Available for anyone looking to keep their game sharp while hitting some balls over the winter in a range/performance style setting. The Trackman range gives you the option to just hit balls, staying loose over the winter months, or the option to dive deep into your numbers, seeing where your game can take you. PGA of Canada instructor lessons will also be available throughout the winter months and we will see an array of fitting days for those looking to jump into the new 2024 Cobra line and get new clubs built specifically for them before the 2024 season begins.

Lastly a reminder of our AGM on November 21st at 6:30pm in the clubhouse. This is open to all 2023 Muni members.

End of Year Reminders

With the 2023 Ontario Golf season creeping to its end, we just wanted to take this time to thank everyone for another great season at The Muni and send out some quick reminders and updates.

We will be leaving the tee sheet open with the members 10 day advance booking until October 31st!! We do hope to remain open the first week of November and have November 5th as our firm closing date but those extra days will be weather dependent and we will only open the tee sheet once nice weather is confirmed.

For any members who have a locker please make sure all food items, wet clothing, socks have been removed from your locker, and if you will need your clubs at any time over the winter months that they are removed from the clubhouse. We also ask that everyone please take their push carts home from the storage room as we have some work to do in that room over the off season. Lastly members who have their own drive carts please have carts removed from the compound by November 3rd at the latest.

Our AGM will be on Tuesday November 21st at 6:30pm in the clubhouse. This is open to all 2023 members who wish to attend.

Our simulator will be returning in January for those who wish to hit balls throughout the winter. Please look for new details in the coming weeks as we look to move it towards a performance/practice studio.

The board of directors will be holding the 2023 AGM on Tuesday November 21st at 6:30pm in the clubhouse. This is open to all full paying members of the course.
